हिन्दू धर्म मै भगवान श्री इंद्र देव को देवताओं का राजा और स्वर्गलोक के अधिपति और बारिश का स्वामी कहा जाता है और इंद्र लोक के राजा भी कहते है।

कोई भी मनुष्य जब अपने शरीर से प्राण छोड़ता है तो तो उसके कर्म  के अनुसार ही उसे दण्ड भोगने पड़ते है और उसे अपने कर्मों के अनुसार ही उसे स्वर्ग और नर्क प्राप्त होते है  अगर किसी मनुष्य को स्वर्ग लोक प्राप्तहोता है तो भगवान् श्री इंद्र देव उनके कर्मो के अनुसार ही उन्हें स्वर्ग लोक में आश्रय दिया जाता है इसलिए भगवान् श्री इंद्र देव को स्वर्ग लोक का देबता कहा जाता है....   

When a person leaves life with his body,according to his deeds, he is punished and he receives hell on his own according to his karams, if a person receives heaven, then lord shri Indra dev According to him, he is given sheltet paradise, so lord indra dev is also called God of Heaven.....
